Specs: First guitar I ever bought. Was going to buy a cheap new Strat, but the guy at the store talked me into the VA. Thank you to him for that! It is a solid body wood with blue paint, I presume it is original paint. Rosewood 22 fret fretboard. EMG pickups. Floyd Rose. It has a single volume knob along with a 5-way switch. I don't know the story on the single knob, I haven't seen any other pics of VA guitars with only one knob, most have 2 or 3. I did have it modified - added a small hole in the back with a matching black cover plate to allow rapid swap of the 9V battery for the EMGs. Probably shouldn't have done that, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. No idea about the previous owner(s). I play it as a hobby and it has been excellent for all these years. You can hammer away on the FR all you want, it rarely goes out of tune at all. Plays absolutely great.
